good morning welcome to brandenburg news network i am donna brandenburg and its the twenty seventh day of september twenty twenty three welcome to our show today i have one of my favorite people is going to be on to day and we're going to hang on one second here of course live got my for screens going sometimes it doesn't always work some that but that's a kay has real news for real people by rope people at the kitchen table so any no wonder my favorite people that i've gotten to know fairly well during this thismy time of political involvement is bill more and i want to introduce him to you because we're going to be doing more minutes and that'll be on wednesdays i'm going to have small segments of people that i really respect on an effort to help educate we the people with what it means to have constituted the constitution in place the way that was supposed to be now we all know that that's not what hap was happening right now we have got a government that is not working for we the people but we've got a study this and go back to what worked and what work was the constitution that it really that document keeps its operating agreement really it's the way to keep our government on the rails and in their lane we have such a confusion of that going on right now and a lack of education that that were we need to help educate ourselves in each other i'm not going to i'm not going to lie to you before i started running my education into the way things were supposed to work it was there to a certain degree but in tell you what run for office and see how bad things are and it's like being on actions eeducation on sight and with that set i'm going to bring boonand we're going to talk to day about the constitution and religion morning bell how you doing more and done on doing all right for some soaking gradulations though the new chair of the u s taxers party in michigan which is the constitution party and a i try to talk about it a little bit every day because the republican party is a disaster its employing so isidora party right now and i i've been right out there and say the statesand the constitution party nationally is full of statesmen whom i have tremendous respect for and i have so much respect for you and your family and what your father did and you you know your beautiful wife and all the people that are standing there it's really been an honour to get to know people who are statesmen and look at the way the nation is supposed to work so let's talk about the constitution religion and what your dadtake was on that oh the ah the focus of this morning i was going to focus on the michigan state constitution are our fellow government has gone so far beyond their delegated authorities that is not even recognized founding fathers wouldn't even be able to recognize what they had set up here we have an opportunity and each of the states to restore our state principles and our state constitution back to its rightful place they would be much easier done and local levels that would be in the federal government so i've got the now have any of this memorized i've got it all late out but the one talk about the nineteen sixty three constitution little bit here we spoke last time we were together and i did it manitooling from details it's on loftiness is unlawfully and place it doesn't it is in it was in in legal unlawful putting that constitute of the false if the nineteen sixty three constitution according to the records of the election of the people for that was held in april first nineteen sixty three when i found three the us census of the state of michigan was seven million eight hundred and twenty three thousand one hundred and ninety four people which means six million two hundred thousand plus people did not bolt on april first nineteen sixty three he means only twenty point six per cent showed up at the poles let those are their numbers so we have little less than eighty per cent of the people then care enough to show up on election day for into the interesting numbers but so we talked well but about the purpose in say castigation it is a contract between we the people and our state government we set it up they are to abide by it it specifically delegates what they are allowed to do and what they are not allowed to do if it's not in their they're not allowed to do it they're not even love to touch it right why did we set this up a lot of people don't understand in her constitution we have preamble that specifically states we the people of the state of michigan great foe almighty god for the blessings of freedom and earnestly desiring to secure these blessings undiminished to ourselves in our posterity do ordain and establish this canstitution this is the nineteen sixty three in the days of a pressirosters ago the people of the state of michigan wanted to make that point clear from the beginning god has always been acknowledged as the supreme leader of our government both by the people and by official act of government and so i wanted to get into a little bit of our founding fathers what they said when we were framing this nation together and their thousands and thousands of supporting coats for this i have a select few and i don't know we're going to make it done in fifteen minutes or not you chuck me off when you need to know webster owing back he was a judge of legislature he was an educator and a schoolmaster in america he said the religion which has introduced civil liberty is the religion of christ and his apostles this is genuine christianity and to this we owe our free constitutions of government in the eighteen fifty four congress stated the great vital and conservative element in our system is the belief of our people in the pure doctrines and the divine truths of the gospel to us press this is our congress people i always see out of our congress to day they all say do is sit there in high light the crimes of all these individuals and fails to bring justice to any of them and in eighteen fifty four that was a different matter so in eighteen fifty fours well in the house judiciary committee they said had the people during the revolution had a suspicion of any attempt to war against christianity that revolution would have been strangled in its cradle and this age there can be no substitute for christianity that was the religion of the founders of the republic and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants again that was congress john dickenson who was one of the signers of the constitution he was governor of both pennsylvania and delaware he sat governments could not give the rights essential to happiness we claim them from a higher source from the king of kings and lord of all the earth and in america to day were swiftly trying to remove the name of christ and of almighty god out of every document that we have and one is that lead us where is our public happiness now in the michigan constitution article eighth section one is specifically states three things are required religion morality and knowledge being necessary to the happiness of mankind in sorry being necessary to good governance and happiness of mankind schools and the means of education shall forever be incouraged what are we supposed be teaching religion morality and knowledge he will go back to know webster a little bit i i respect for this man he said the christian religion is the basis or rather the source of all genuine freedom and government i am persuaded that no civil government of a republic rerpublicans form can exist and be durable in which the principles of christianity have not a controlling influence ah he lssad the moral principles and precepts found in the scriptures of the form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws the annual webster who was both the son of her and the sick and the secretary of state for some time said the christian religion its general principles must ever be invincible in its building the foundation of our society and government where where have we built our house to day right the scriptures talk about building a house on the rock or the sand think about that as we continue on where's our house built upon a benjamin rush here's another man that i respect you as the one of the signers of the declaration of independence he was one of the men that pledged their life livery ere life fortunes and sacred honor in defence of that declaration they were ready to give anything they had to fulfil what they believe is truth he said the greatest discoveries in science have been made by christian philosophers and there is the most knowledge in those countries where there is the most christianity the only means of establishing and perpetuating a republican forms of government is the universal education of our youth in the principles of christianity by means of the bible he also said the great enemy of the salvation of men and my opinion never invented a more effective means of limiting christianity from the world than by persuading mankind that it was improper to read the bible at schools what happened in the nineteen sixties what did we remove from schools and where have we gone since then he saw the wisest plan of education that could be offered would be unpopular among ninety nine out of a hundred of the citizens of america if it opposed in any degree the doctrine of the trinity let's go back and hit that again the wisest plan of education would be unpopular in ninety nine per cent of the citizens if it opposed any separation of a man and his wife the government steps in and set up all these other departments including the friend of the court as the huge one and their part of breaking destroyed they destroyed the family of they destroy the families i come from a home of that regard and i can tell you first hand what happens in those he in those meetings but for the transgression of land many are the princes thereof we decide we want to live in transgression of the moral law right also common law which is what our country is premised upon and we have the set up all these princes all these departments all these officials these on elected birocrats to handle all of these transgressions in daniel for twenty five says that they should drive thee from men and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven and seven times to pass over thee till thou know that the most high ruleth in the will that pollen office and the majority of professed christians would tell me no in and i remind them that each nation has the government that it deserves em when we see wicked rulers set up that is introspect introspected on her own life and how we conduct ourselves or we an example of what god wants us to live instead of looking at everybody else and say you do this you do this you do this that is come right back to ourselves and make the choice to live according to what god said the way that he's told us to he gave us the path out of this the problems that were in right now founding fathers knew it and we know it we just have to be able to turn ourselves round and put god first in our lives as well as the nation yes very simple if you're sick of man's ten thousand commandments get back the god's ten the we want the results we used to get we have to do the things we used to do pretty simple all thank you well for coming on that was wonderful to day i preciate the research to did on
